Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Board of Trustees of Family Promise of Essex County, Inc. (FPE), I am writing to provide you with important organizational development news. We are saying goodbye to Jackie Baillargeon, FPE’s Interim Executive Director and welcoming Tia Aery as the new Executive Director effective April 1, 2021. The Board greatly appreciates Jackie’s hard work and compassion. She led the organization through the Covid-19 pandemic, insuring that FPE continued to provide shelter and services to Essex County families experiencing the crisis of homelessness.
Many of you may remember Tia, as she served on the Board of Trustees and then as Executive Director in Essex County from 2001 to 2013. Since that time, Tia worked for Family Promise National and then Family Promise of Greater Orlando. Under her leadership, Family Promise of Greater Orlando expanded their programs, staff and financial resources allowing them to triple the number of families served annually.
Through these changes, Family Promise of Essex County remains dedicated to helping families impacted by the crisis of homelessness. We look forward to continuing our critical work thanks to your support.
