Family Promise Essex is holding A Chance for Every Child fundraising event at Mayfair Farms in West Orange on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
The organization will gather approximately 350 guests for this hour-long event in an effort to raise $250,000 in pledges and gifts to provide homeless families with emergency shelter and housing. FPE is grateful to FedEx, the $10,000 Gold Sponsor, as well as additional sponsors including Investors Bank, William H. Connolly & Company, and Rand, Feuer & Klein.
Guests will learn from a formerly homeless mom how FPE helps families like hers realize the dream of having their own homes. Board member Kathy Stine will explain why FPE’s mission is so important to families in Essex County and how guests can help. Lennon Register, a member of the Board of Trustees, will ask guests to consider making multi-year pledges or gifts to FPE. Those able to give $1,000 or more each year for five years will have the opportunity to become members of the FPE Dream Team.
