According to Emma, “it takes a lot of focus and drive to tutor children who are worn out from a long day at school and are struggling with their course material”.
Emma is enrolled at Columbia University in the fall. She hopes to major in English while studying on the pre-med track and to eventually go to medical school and become a Physician. Emma would like to “thank everyone at FPE, the staff and the children enrolled in the program, for providing me with such a meaningful experience over the past few years. It has been so amazing to watch and help the students grow, both academically and as people”.
